8mm bullets provide exceptional accuracy along with deep penetration and reliable expansion on medium and heavier game. 175 grain #2410 gives the 8x57mm shooter an excellent big game bullet and is suitable for 8mm magnum cartridges.
This bullet has been expertly blended with Sierra’s world renowned accuracy. The custom tapered Pro-Hunter jacket helps ensure maximum expansion, optimal weight retention and deep penetration for game-stopping, 1-shot performance.
The 8mm Spitzer performs excellently on medium game at velocities typical of the 8mm Mauser, delivering deep penetration and reliable expansion.
However, this bullet will be too destructive to medium game when fired from an 8mm Remington Magnum. This is not loaded ammunition.
